New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Edgemont Moguls (Edgemont, SD), 54-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, New Underwood upgrades its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lyman (Presho, SD) to meet the Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 3. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 14-6. Lyman lost 73-58 in their recent league match against White River (White River, SD)

With the defeat, Edgemont moves to 4-17 on the year.
