The Safford Bulldogs triumphed over the host Alchesay Falcons baseball squad by a score of 7-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now hold a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holbrook for a non-league test on Saturday, March 21. Safford will play a Roadrunners team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Chinle (Chinle, AZ). The Roadrunners record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Alchesay drops to 2-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ) to battle the Elks in a non-league outing on Friday, March 20. The Elks come into the outing with a record of 9-1. Round Valley won 17-0 in their recent league outing against Valley (Sanders, AZ)
