The Red Mountain Mountain Lions baseball team (Mesa, AZ), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, AZ)

The Huskies (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Basic (Henderson, NV). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Basic held off Arvada West (Arvada, CO), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mountain Lions face the Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley battle, on Tuesday, March 24. Red Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 1-12 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ).
