The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) lacrosse routed the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 26-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Maroon Knights now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. Wheeling Central Catholic will face a Hawks squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Preston falls to 0-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to face the Applemen in a WVSLA -DII East outing on Saturday, March 29. The Applemen go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Musselman lost 15-5 in their recent non-league outing against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV)
