In Thursday's league challenge, the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) baseball squad the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), by a final score of 10-8.

With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Eagles host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to encounter the Miners in a Northern challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Yreka won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR)

Next, the Falcons face the Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 24. Central Valley will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
