North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Ashley drops to Topsail

March 23, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28412

In Thursday's league test, the visiting Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored a good 15-7 victory over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

The Pirates now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Laney for a Mideastern test on Tuesday, March 28. Topsail will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 11-7 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 8-1.

With the defeat, Ashley drops to 3-4 on the season. The Screaming eagle travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to play the Scorpions in a Mideastern match on Tuesday, March 28. The Scorpions go into the match with a record of 1-7. North Brunswick lost 17-1 in their recent league match against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
