The Sun Valley Spartans lacrosse squad (Monroe, NC), was overwhelmed 16-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC)

Coming up next, the Warriors meet the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge, on Monday, March 27. Weddington will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 23-4 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).

The Spartans now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Parkwood for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge on Tuesday, March 28.
