Louisiana High School Baseball - Sulphur prevails Rosepine
March 24, 2025: Rosepine, LA 70659 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) and the host Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA), saw Sulphur's baseball team gain a win over Rosepine by a tally of 9-0.
The Golden Tors (12-13) will now prepare for their battle against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the 5A District 3 battle with a 15-9 record. In their last battle, New Iberia was overwhelmed by Southside (Youngsville, LA), 8-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Rosepine will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 2-10 record after their 17-6 non-league loss to Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA).
