Mississippi High School Softball - Houston held off by Northpoint Christian

In Monday's non-league test, the Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) softball squad got by the visiting Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), by a tally of 11-10.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. Northpoint Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 12-7 record after their 5-2 league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS).

The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN). The Panthers go into the 4A District 15 test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Bartlett was nudged by Westside (Jonesboro, AR), 7-1, in a non-league test.
