The Holly Springs Golden Hawks lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Cary Imps to 2 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Hawks now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Panther Creek for a Southwest Wake outing on Friday, March 28. Holly Springs will face a Catamounts squad coming off a 17-3 league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Cary falls to 2-9 on the year. The Imps host Northern Durham (Durham, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 26.
