Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Greenfield upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Knights host Trinity Academy (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, March 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Trinity Academy lost 11-6 in their recent league test against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC)

With the defeat, Ridgecroft falls to 4-1 on the season. The Rams host Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC) to battle the Eagles in a NCISAA Tarheel test on Monday, March 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-2. Northeast Academy lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)
