In Wednesday's league game, the host Valley Union Blue Devils baseball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the Patagonia Lobos.

The Blue Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ). The Apaches go into the 1A South game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Fort Thomas knocked off Baboquivari (Sells, AZ), 9-5, in a league game.

Next, the Lobos play the Duncan Wildkats (Duncan, AZ) in a 1A South game, on Friday, March 28. Patagonia will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Wildkats go into the game with a 4-2 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ).
