In Thursday's non-league match, the host Fort Lauderdale Flying L's baseball squad scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the South Plantation Paladins.

With the triumph, Fort Lauderdale advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Flying L's host Deerfield Beach (Deerfield Beach, FL) to battle the Bucks in a 6A District 14 match on Friday, March 27. The Bucks come into the match with a record of 3-10. Deerfield Beach won 18-15 in their recent non-league match against Stranahan (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

The Paladins now have a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Doral Academy for a non-league game on Monday, March 30. South Plantation will play a Firebirds team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Union County (Lake Butler, FL). The Firebirds record now stands at 18-2.
