In Thursday's league bout, the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), by a tally of 14-4.

Next up, the Indians encounter the Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Skyhawks enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 12-5 league win over Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA).
