In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Buford Yellow Jackets softball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the North Central Knights.

The Yellow Jackets (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Bruins go into the non-league match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Lancaster tipped Dreher (Columbia, SC), 16-1, in a league match.
