March 28, 2022: Abbeville, AL 36310 In Monday's non-league contest, the Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Abbeville Yellowjackets (Abbeville, AL), by a margin of 21-2.
With the triumph, Goshen moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Pike County (Brundidge, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 4 contest on Thursday, March 31. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 5-6.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Cottonwood Bears (Cottonwood, AL) in a 2A Area 2 contest, on Tuesday, April 5. Abbeville will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record.
