In Friday's non-league match, the host Northpoint Christian Trojans softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Munford Cougars.

The Trojans (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN). The Eagles come into the D II-A West 6 match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Evangelical Christian notched a victory over Harding Academy (Memphis, TN), 15-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN) in a 3A District 15 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Munford will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 9-6 record after their 17-7 league win over Covington (Covington, TN).
