In Tuesday's non-league contest, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a count of 16-8.

Coming up next, the Sabres confront the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck contest, on Thursday, March 31. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 19-6 league win over Independence (Charlotte, NC).

The Pirates now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Weddington for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest on Monday, April 4.
