The Asheville Cougars lacrosse squad (Asheville, NC), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC)

Coming up next, the Red Tornadoes meet the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge, on Thursday, March 31. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 17-5 league win over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC).

The Cougars now sport a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge on Thursday, March 31. Asheville will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-9.
