Texas High School Softball - Ore City bounces Big Sandy
March 3, 2022: Ore City, TX 75683 Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 14-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumby for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Ore City will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Big Sandy falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Pittsburg won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX)
