In Thursday's non-league contest, the Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) softball team held off the visiting Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Sand Rock moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Brookwood (Brookwood, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, March 4. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 8-13.
