Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), saw Catawba Ridge's baseball squad knock off South Pointe by a count of 10-4.

Coming up next, the Copperheads play the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 7. Catawba Ridge will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 0-0 record after their 2-2 non-league Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC).
