In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Gramercy Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the New Bern Bears.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Spartans come into the MACAA 2A challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Christ Covenant was beaten by Bethel Assembly Christian Academy (Windsor, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
