In Thursday's non-league match, the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders softball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Jordan Falcons.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their match against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, East Chapel Hill was nipped by Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC), 11-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 6. Jordan will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the match with a 0-2 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC).
