In Thursday's non-league test, the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), by a count of 17-6.

Next up, the Golden Hawks battle the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake test, on Monday, March 10. Holly Springs will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots enter the test with a 3-0 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the United 8/All American/Sandhills test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Jack Britt was overwhelmed by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 5-4, in a non-league test.
