Leesburg Yellow Jackets (Leesburg, FL) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Celebration Storm (Celebration, FL), 18-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Leesburg improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Cedar Key (Cedar Key, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league game on Friday, March 7. The Sharks enter the game with a record of 1-2. Cedar Key lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, FL)

The Storm now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Bishop Moore for a non-league game on Monday, March 10. Celebration will play a Hornets squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Ocoee (Ocoee, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.
