The Hoke County Bucks softball team scored 18 runs and held the host St. Pauls Bulldogs to 1 in the Bucks non-league win on Friday.

The Bucks now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Red Springs for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 9. Hoke County will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 16-9 non-league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-0.

The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Fairmont overcame West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
