The Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) softball nipped the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 14-13 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Jaguars now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, March 9. Overhills will encounter a Royals team coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Royals record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Purnell Swett moves to 2-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Buccaneers in a non-league outing on Monday, March 9.
