The Seventy-First Falcons softball squad (Fayetteville, NC), was routed 32-20 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC)

With the triumph, Terry Sanford improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to face the Rams in a Tri-County 6A/7A contest on Tuesday, March 10. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Purnell Swett lost 14-13 in their recent non-league contest against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)
