March 7, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC), saw Sun Valley's baseball squad knock off Lincoln Charter by a count of 11-6.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Sun Valley will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
The Eagles now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Lincoln for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 9. Lincoln Charter will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
