The Central Chargers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Southwest Patriots to 2 in the Chargers non-league victory on Monday.

The Chargers (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights go into the AAA Region 2 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Upson-Lee was overwhelmed by West Laurens (Dexter, GA), 9-3, in a non-league match.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Hurricanes go into the AA Region 3 match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Jasper County gained a win over Putnam County (Eatonton, GA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
