Florida High School Lacrosse - Pompano Beach can't get by Miami Country Day
March 9, 2023: Pompano Beach, FL 33060 In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Miami Country Day Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes.
The Spartans now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ransom Everglades for a 1A D16 test on Friday, March 10. Miami Country Day will face a Raiders squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to NSU University (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes face the Stoneman Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 13. Pompano Beach will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 23-6 non-league win over NSU University (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
