Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 27-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ysleta for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Hanks will face a Indians squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Indians record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Parkland falls to 13-12 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Horizon (El Paso, TX) to face the Scorpions in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a record of 3-11.
