April 1, 2026: St. Pauls, NC 28384 St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 17-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, St. Pauls improves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Red Springs (Red Springs, NC) to play the Red Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, April 4. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 5-6. Red Springs lost 11-0 in their recent league match against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC)
In their next game, the Falcons confront the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) in a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A match, on Tuesday, April 14. Seventy-First will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Golden Bulls come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 19-1 league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC).
