The Laney Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host West Brunswick Trojans to 1 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Thursday.

The Buccaneers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoggard for a Mideastern outing on Tuesday, April 22. Laney will face a Vikings squad coming off a 19-6 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, West Brunswick falls to 1-12 on the year. The Trojans host North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to face the Scorpions in a Mideastern outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Scorpions go into the outing with a record of 6-9. North Brunswick lost 21-4 in their recent league outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
