In Thursday's non-league match, the host Laurel Hill Hoboes softball team scored a tight 9-8 win over the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders.

The Hoboes (7-11) will now prepare for their match against Elba (Elba, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 11-15 record.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights (Niceville, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 17. Pensacola Catholic will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 10-5 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Bethlehem (Bonifay, FL).
