Delaware High School Soccer - Nandua toppled by Sussex Central
April 17, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947 Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sussex Central moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE) to meet the Royals in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Royals come into the test with a record of 1-7.
The Warriors now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holly Grove Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. Nandua will meet a Eagles team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Greenwood Mennonite (Greenwood, DE). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
