The Millard West Wildcats crushed the host Gretna Dragons baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host Millard North for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 20. Millard West will face a Mustangs team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-10.

Next, the Dragons face the Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 21. Gretna will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 9-8 record after their 11-5 league win over Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE).
