Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV), 24-13 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a 2A- Southern challenge on Friday, April 22. Laughlin will face a Blue Knights squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to White Pine (Ely, NV). The Blue Knights record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Indian Springs falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Mountain View Christian (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Saints in a 1A Southern challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Mountain View Christian lost 17-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)
