North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 10-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, North Brunswick moves its record to 11-9 on the season. The Scorpions host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, April 23. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 12-7. South Brunswick won 5-4 in their recent league match against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC)

The Screaming Eagle now possess a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hanover for a Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A match on Friday, April 24. Ashley will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.
