Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) and the host Coffee County Central Red Raiders (Manchester, TN), witnessed Covington's softball squad hold off Coffee County Central by a final score of 12-11.

The Chargers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 16-10 record. In their last battle, Greenbrier held off White House (White House, TN), 1-0, in a league battle.
