April 22, 2025: Des Lacs, ND 58733 The Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) baseball trounced the visiting Ray Ray Jays (Ray, ND), 23-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Lakers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Renville County West for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. Des Lacs-Burlington will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Canby (Canby, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-9.
With the defeat, Ray drops to 0-5 on the year. The Ray jays host Stanley (Stanley, ND) to clash with the Blue Jays in a Class B - Region VII challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Blue Jays go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Stanley lost 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Tioga (Tioga, ND)
