In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Preston Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Brooke Bruins.

The Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Garrett County (Grantsville, MD). The Bears go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Greater Garrett County was nipped by Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
