The Bagdad Sultans softball squad (Bagdad, AZ), was routed 15-4 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ)

With the triumph, Anthem Prep improves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ) to face the Coyotes in a 1A West contest on Tuesday, April 28. The Coyotes enter the contest with a record of 9-7. Desert Heights Prep won 19-2 in their recent non-league contest against Red Rock (Sedona, AZ)

The Sultans now hold a 7-14 record.
