The Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks volleyball team (Tucson, AZ), was dropped 3-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ)

The Sabercats (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Wolves enter the 4A Gila challenge with a 2-12 record.

Next, the Nighthawks meet the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Wednesday, April 27. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to move on its 8-18 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 24-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ).
