In Tuesday's league test, the host Topsail Pirates lacrosse squad scored a good 18-7 victory over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

The Pirates now have a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a Mideastern test on Thursday, April 27. Topsail will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 12-4 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 12-4.

Next, the Screaming Eagle encounter the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern game, on Thursday, April 27. Ashley will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 1-14 record after their 14-1 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
