Edwardsville Tigers (Edwardsville, IL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) in a Southwestern challenge, on Thursday, April 27. Edwardsville will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Redbirds enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Granite City (Granite City, IL).
