Wisconsin High School Soccer - Brookfield Central nudges Edgewood
April 25, 2025: Brookfield, WI 53005 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Brookfield Central Lancers (Brookfield, WI) and the visiting Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI), saw Brookfield Central's soccer squad hold off Edgewood by a count of 1-0.
The Lancers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls, WI). The Phoenix enter the Greater Metro battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Menomonee Falls was edged by Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, WI), 8-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Crusaders battle the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions (New Berlin, WI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 26. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Pius XI Catholic (Milwaukee, WI).
