Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Peru upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Tigers host North Miami (Denver, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Three Rivers test on Friday, April 30. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-4. North Miami lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Rochester (Rochester, IN)

With the defeat, Caston falls to 4-6 on the season. The Comets host Pioneer (Royal Center, IN) to battle the Panthers in a Hoosier North test on Thursday, April 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-4. Pioneer lost 9-5 in their recent league test against LaVille (Lakeville, IN)
