The Northwest Guilford Vikings walloped the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats lacrosse team by a final score of 17-6 in Wednesday's non-league match.

With the win, Northwest Guilford betters its record to 14-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to meet the Cowboys in a Metro challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 4-14. Southwest Guilford lost 15-12 in their recent league challenge against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)

The Wildcats now sport a 4-8 record.
